Greater Cincinnati Calligraphers' Guild

Holiday Calligraphy presented by Jean Kinsella

Greater Cincinnati Calligraphers’ Guild Meeting
Saturday, November 20, 2010, 10am – Noon
Northside Library, 4219 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH  45223

Come join us as Jean Kinsella shows us how she uses holiday themed paper she created collaging copyright free images with some calligraphy.  The ideas will lend a special touch to your decorating or gift giving.  And they are not just for the holidays – these ideas lend themselves to birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. And once you get the basics you can use your own themed, marbled, practice sheets or other papers.

You will need scissors, or cutting mat and X-Acto, metal ruler for cutting and measuring, glue stick, scrap paper to glue on, pencil, bone folder and note-taking paper.

Optional:   Decorative scissors, round 1 1/2” and 2” circle punches, your own paper scraps, ribbons, markers, gold or silver craft thread.

Chocolate lovers on your gift list?  Bring a full size, 3.5 oz bar for a take-home-ready-to-give treat.  Leftover Halloween mini Hershey bars?  Bring them along for a unique gift idea.
