February 18: Writing on Glass, Mirrors, and Other Slick Surfaces

Have you wondered how to letter on glass or mirrors or what to use to do them? Well, this is the meeting for you. Please join us on Sat. February 18 at 10 a.m. for our meeting. Ashna will be guiding us with some of the tools and tricks that she’s used to do just that. Here is her suggested list of materials, but as always, there will be plenty to borrow and try out. 

Supply list:

  • Sharpie Oil Pens
  • Bistro Chalk
  • Posca pens – water based
  • Acetone/ nail paint remover 
  • Stabilo aquarelle white pencil
  • Faber Castell pastel pencil
  • Exacto Knife
  • Painters Tape
  • Windex – for easy removing
  • Ruler
  • Masking Tape
  • Paper Towel
  • Q tips
  • Paint scraper

Feel free to bring any small piece of glass, mirror or even a glass Christmas ornament.
