Welcome back and Apologies
Well, we completely skipped September and my apologies on that, it’s been a crazy summer leading into fall, but let’s get started.
Please join us this Saturday, October 18 at 10 a.m. at the Reception room (basement art room) of the Bell Tower Arts Pavilion.
Nothing huge planned for this meeting, but we would like to discuss topics for the rest of the year and get some ideas from the membership.
As craft project, bring some art supplies , any envelopes you may have, pick your favorite holiday and decorate an envelope for that holiday. More fun that just your typical addressing. You could do a spooky Halloween envelope, Happy Fall, Thanksgiving or get a start on your holiday cards. There will be a stash of envelopes in case you don’t have any.
While we work we’ll talk all about calligraphy and see what we can plan for the year.
Continued help….
From Holly Laraine:
October, 2025
Greetings, everyone! I am pleased to share that Jacqueline continues treatment and is hanging in there. We are so grateful for everyone’s kindness and generosity over the last several months. We have been able to support Jaqueline’s stair life and other expenses and that is something to celebrate!
Over the last couple of weeks, Jacqueline has been engaged in an effort to pay for the cost of necessary repairs to her condo. She is stretched thin because she hasn’t been well enough to work for almost a year and her savings have dwindled.
Can we help? Yes. We are looking to raise a minimum of $3,000 to cover the cost of repairs and anything additional will help buffer living expenses, including caring for Jacqueline’s dog, Phoebe.
At Jacqueline’s request, I am reaching out to all of you because options are few and Jacqueline can’t fight all of this alone.
So, if you feel led to help out our friend, please do. I know she would appreciate it. — Jen
