Yes, it is the green month again, so Uncial it is – aka Celtic lettering – characterized by its broadest of broad curves, rebellious of the pagan straight lines. Be prepared to exaggerate, overlay and contrast. On hand will be dark papers and bleach.
BRING your white paper and black ink to practice the Uncial style and to experience the various pen nibs.
BRING your widest nibs and ruling pens and any unique pen nibs you’ve acquired but never used. We’ll play and share.
BRING also old shirt as we are working with bleach. If you are sensitive to fumes, you may want to bring a mask.
