Join us for a special All About Tools meeting on Saturday, October 8th at 10AM.
There are so many tools and so little time. From the best nibs for beginners to the more unusual tools, we’ll have them available to try out. There will be stations set up for unique hands on experience.
Above you’ll see, from left to right, an oblique pointed pen, Pilot Parallel pen, Speedball metal brush, an automatic pen, a Mitchell nib, a Butterfly folded pen, a Wildman-made tool, a home-made folded pen, and a broad edge mechanical pencil. These are just a few of the tools you’ll get to sample. If you have any tools that you love, or are unusual, bring them to show and share.
Also if you’re a teacher, our programs meet the continuing education guidelines set by the state of Ohio. Please feel free to join us and share with your fellow teachers. The Greater Cincinnati Calligrapher’s Guild is open to anyone with an interest in the lettering arts.
All meetings are held at 10AM on the lower level of the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, 10500 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241, unless otherwise noted. Please note: entrance into the Center is only accessible by going north on Reading Rd.
